Baby Talk...

Now that I have the necessary "support", I have picked up a few new wardrobe pieces and I am finally fitting back into my pre-pregnancy 7's, I am going to take a quick break from the "fashion" talk and bring up a new topic.

Pregnancy

I have a few "new Mommy" friends and I could not be happier for them. Anyone who has done it before knows how hard it is to pinpoint exactly what they need for pregnancy and baby. Goodness, walk into a Babies R' Us and you will feel sick to your stomach. I am a very practical person. I HATE buying things I don't need. I hate wasting money and with twins, what you buy has to be the most useful, streamlined option. So, I am going to do a short series on the baby items I love and have loved the most.

I will start off with some pregnancy items. Remember, this are my recommendations from carrying twins. Plus, everyone is different.

Target and Old Navy have some great maternity options. Buying clothes I was only going to wear for a few months was hard for me. I had a pair of nice jeans, 2-3 nice tops and the rest...well, you know what I was wearing the rest of the time :).

I bought a Bella Band in a small boutique in Virginia Beach and it is, hands down, the best maternity piece I own. I also bought a generic one from Target and it's not nearly as nice and a waste of money. I bought the Bella Band in white and black and I wish I still had an excuse to wear them!

Don't even try to tell me this is not the sexiest thing you have ever seen. It may look like some crazy elderly bondage mechanism but I assure you, its completely G-rated and saved my life. That contraption helps immensely with back pain and stretch marks. I was coaching girls Lacrosse until pretty close to the end and this made it possible. Of course, one look at me in that thing and my husband was, literally, rolling on the floor. But, it was all in the name of a healthy pregnancy so I wore it proudly.

If anyone else has anything they loved in their pregnancy, please share.
